Established in Leicester in 1995, Central Grinding Services has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, precision grinding services to customers across the UK.

From smaller batches through to production quantities, we provide flexible and reliable grinding service across a wide range of materials and applications.

Our experienced team combines decades of engineering knowledge with modern CNC machinery and inspection technology, allowing us to produce accurate and consistent components to demanding specifications. We combine traditional grinding expertise with modern CNC technology to achieve the accuracy, consistency and surface finishes our customers require.

Quality & Inspection

Quality is at the heart of everything we do.

Our on-site Nital Etch Laboratory allows us to inspect components for grinding burns and cracks, providing an additional level of quality assurance.

Alongside our Nital Etch Laboratory, we have invested in modern Mitutoyo inspection equipment to ensure the accuracy and quality of our finished components, Our inspection capabilities include Mitutoyo CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for accurate dimensional measurement and verification, together with a Mitutoyo Formtracer for measuring surface finish and form.

We are ISO 9001:2015 UKAS registered, demonstrating our commitment to quality, traceability and continuous improvement.
